I recently completed my Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certification with this school, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From start to finish, the journey was perfectly tailored to my needs, with dates arranged to fit my schedule seamlessly. The instructor went above and beyond, teaching me not just how to fly a multi-engine aircraft but also how to be an effective and confident instructor. Their passion for aviation truly shined through every lesson. The owner, Robert, was incredibly friendly and sincerely involved in my progress, checking in regularly to ensure I was on track and comfortable. Thanks to the supportive environment and dedicated team, the entire process was not stressful but rather an enjoyable and enriching experience. I highly recommend this school to anyone pursuing multi-engine ratings or instructor certifications!

Rob and his team truly specialize in commercial training and have a great operation to get you trained and ready for the checkride. If you’re struggling to get an instructor booked and can’t find a multi engine twin that works in your area call Rob and get your course booked here today. Thats what I did. I traveled all the way from Colorado and it was worth every penny. I’m happy to say as of August 16, 2024 I’m a CAMEL pilot. The airplanes are well equipped, well cared for and my instructor Peter a great instructor. That you for getting me across the finish line.

I just passed my Commercial Multi add-on first try and could not have been happier with this school! The set up and prep work they give you far in advance helps tremendously with getting a good base of knowledge way before you even step into the plane. My Instructors name was Peter and I would highly recommend him. His teaching style was easy to grasp and very informative. He knew every inch of the plane and could explain in detail how each system worked. By the time of my checkride I felt very prepared and confident due to the well put together lesson plans. Whether you are looking to time build or to get any form of Multi Certification, this is the place to go!

Just passed my MEI check ride this morning after completing my training with METB. Rob, the owner, was very responsive from the time I first called to set up my training back in November through the end of my checkride. As noted in other testimonials, he was always around quizzing me and asking about the aircraft and instructors. Any issues that came up with the planes, of which there were very few and they were all minor, were quickly resolved. I did a time build flight with Matt, the did the MEI program with Pete. Both were great instructors with lots of patience. They certainly don't have a shortage of students and there appears to always be a waiting list. Matt conducted a group ground that I was not sure I would be able to make due to a scheduling conflict and Rob, without hesitation, sat down with me and did the ground 1 on 1. Even after the group ground, Matt offered to sit down 1 on 1 as well in case I had any additional questions, which I didn't. Pete and I met the day before the checkride, prior to our final training flight and he completed one last ground with me to make sure I had all the necessary information. Everyone there genuinely wants you to succeed. What was also very impressive was the fact my checkride was scheduled with my training. It's all too common to currently hear about people waiting months to get chckrides scheduled but Rob makes sure you get the ride completed immediately after your training while it's still fresh in your head. Whether you're looking to add a rating or time build, I can't recommend Rob and the whole crew at METB enough.

Coming to Multiengine Time Building was a great experience. I had to travel for my training, and METB was the perfect place to train knowing you’ll get a DPE, reliable weather instructor and aircraft availability. Their a small outfit, so you work with the owner Rob for all the scheduling. The Instructors are super professional. The downloadable materials are all pretty great. Make sure you download and study before showing up, because you’ll fly every day

My experience at Multi-Engine Flight School in Glendale was phenomenal. My instructor Fred was a retired DPE with a wealth of knowledge to share. The course was straight forward and easy to digest, with no surprises during training or the checkride. The owner Rob is very enthusiastic and passionate about teaching, with the two Comanches flying in pristine condition. Flying with Multi-Engine Flight School in Glendale was a great time and I would recommend anyone seeking their multi rating add ons to give Rob a call. Wonderful environment and I will definitely be returning for multi-engine time building.

Just passed my multi-engine commercial today with the help of Rob and Matt! Matt was a wonderful flight instructor and helped me learn how to be a safe and reliable multi-engine pilot, and Rob helped me understand any and all information that was presented during the oral portion of the exam. I finished everything within 5 days, and when I wasn’t feeling confident after day 2, Matt had decided to take me up twice the next day just to make sure I had everything down and ready for the checkride in the days ahead. Confidence is everything when it comes to these tests, and confidence is what I was given with this program. I would highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to complete their multi quickly and efficiently, and I am very very grateful for the quality instruction given. Matt did a 10/10 job and I hope our paths may cross again in the future of the aviation world. Safe flying and a good day to everyone!

I did my Commercial Multi Engine add on here back in Februrary and had a great experience. As long as you come in to the training having reviewed all of the required material, they will take you through to a successful checkride. The ground school that was conducted by Jeremy was thorough and covered all of the required knowledge areas. Rob does a great job keeping up with the maintenance on the planes, and made sure that everything was ready to go for my checkride. My instructor, Fred, was detailed and held me to high standards throughout our flights. By the time I did my checkride, I felt very well prepared!

I recently completed my CAMEL add-odd at METB, and the many reviews here are spot-on accurate. This is a tightly-focused, well-run operation which has one mission - building and developing multi-engine pilots. The instructor cadre is recruited exclusively from experienced MEIs, the aircraft are all purpose-selected, equipped and maintained for multiengine flight instruction and time-building, and this lean operation revolves around the mission of getting students and time-builders where they want to go. Rob, the owner of METB, is highly involved in the day-to-day operations. It was a rarity that I didn't run into him as I arrived for training each day, and he's constantly alert for feedback on the airplane, the instructor, and your check-ride. The very minor squawks I observed were all handled by the next flight, the aircraft's databases were maintained (mine happened to expire on the day of the checkride, and the new one was uploaded before), and the airplane was fueled and ready to go for each training day. Rob also does not pass on the opportunity to quiz the student on systems as he makes his rounds, and the instructional areas of focus were (no surprises here) all topics which appeared in my checkride oral. Matt Estremera instructed my session, and has a solid, balanced, and patient instructional style. He is clearly experienced in multi-engine instruction, knows these planes, and understands the accelerated process well enough to know the life-cycle of a student going from day one drinking-from-the-firehose, to checkride day. Matt exhibited patience and poise while suffering through the mistakes of a new Twin Comanche pilot, understands that the learning happens in some ugly training errors, and has a good sense of when to intervene, versus letting the student figure it out under guidance. The accounting for detail in this compact, focused operation is impressive. Your DPE slot is scheduled when you book your training (months in advance, due to demand), the DPEs are known to the operation (no random mystery examiners), and your instructor will know how to prepare you for the ride you'll likely receive, based on the ACS and the areas of focus known for your DPE. Very little is left to chance, and candidate can focus solely on training and performance. Jeremy Mitchell's ground sessions via Zoom are well-written, focused, and deliver all the material you'll need to succeed in training. If you can attend more than one session prior to training (I did two), you will only increase your chances for success. If he's talking about a system, a limitation, or a performance profile in the training, there's an excellent chance you're going to be talking about it on your checkride. It's almost like these folks know what you need to succeed. Make no mistake, this is accelerated training. You'll need to arrive prepared, having briefed the ground training materials -AND- the maneuvers profiles (published on the website). I'd highly recommend downloading the PA30 POH to your ForeFlight and tabbing the appropriate pages (V-speeds, performance charts, systems). You -WILL- be using these pages during your checkride, and having easy access to the right material will demonstrate that this isn't the first time you're looking at the POH. Again, all of this material is on the downloads page. Everything you need, and nothing you don't. It very much pays to arrive to this training instrument current and proficient, and you can request the avionics system closest to your experience (GNS 530 or GTN 750). Do this, and the instrument part of your training will be a footnote, rather than another hill to climb. If you're looking for a focused operation that's tightly oriented around getting you where you need to go, METB is worth your consideration. Your training dollars and time will not be wasted here, provided you arrive willing to do your part. METB isn't a new and unique idea - it's a proven and well-executed program.

Drill Sargent/CFI Fred was efficient and fun to fly with. I really appreciated the Owners attention to detail with maintenance. The night before my checkride another pilot flat spotted a tire and Rob stayed at the airport till 10pm to replace the left tire so I would have a successful checkride with a well-maintained aircraft. Great operation and I will whole-heartedly recommend them..

Multi Engine Time Building is as advertised and indeed so much more! Everyone I encountered was an integral and invaluable part of a success-oriented team where I felt I was the center of their attention and their primary concern. I passed my Multi Engine Instructor (MEI) check ride with flying colors. Rob is the owner of the school and chief pilot over the last 30 plus years. He has certainly mastered the art of staying ahead of aircraft maintenance, coordinating instructors and trainees, and securing check ride dates with local DPE’s. His study material is posted on the school website. While the material is relatively short and condensed, it is in fact comprehensive and it covers in excellent detail and illustration everything needed about twin aerodynamics, runway incursion, several scenario-based articles, and avionics/aircraft specifics. The trainee would be well served studying ALL of this material in advance. Jeremy was my online ground school instructor. Teaching is obviously his passion. Hard to believe his presentation went on for nearly 4 hours! I did not know my attention span can last that long. So, it must be to Jeremy’s credit that the material was so well organized and masterfully presented that it just didn’t feel like 4 hours. I asked him at the end of the presentation if he would send me the link to the recorded session as well as the power point slides, he did not hesitate and immediately followed through by email. Outstanding communication skills and genuine commitment to help the trainee. Fred was my flight instructor. He is the reason I decided to go to Arizona. Fred has a golden reputation with professional airline pilots, he trained a significant number of them. He is an ATP and has been flying since 1960… that’s 5 years longer than I’ve been on this earth! I just wish he would act his age so the rest of us can catch up with him! His high energy and laser precision focus are constant throughout the day. He does not “expect” perfection, he demands it. He will thoroughly explain every maneuver, demonstrate it, then talk you through it until you yourself are able to explain everything you’re doing as you execute the maneuver. He will not let you get away with even the smallest most subtle mistake. He knows the aircraft like the back of his hand. With the patience of a saint and the relentlessness of a bulldog, he will identify your mistake with surgical precision and show you how to fix it. When Fred signs that endorsement in your logbook, you are a skilled polished pilot guaranteed to pass your Multi Engine Instructor check ride with flying colors. That’s exactly what I did on day five. Thank you Fred! Jacob was my DPE. Strictly speaking a DPE is prohibited from instructing the examinee. However he modeled the very spirit of aviation safety with remarkable insight and experience that compels me to consider him one of my most treasured instructors. He engages you in a scenario by explaining a real-life event. Once you understand the parameters, he begins developing “what if” questions and gives you your space to develop an answer and demonstrate your competence. You will be challenged to think on your feet and fast. The flight portion was fully briefed on the ground with great emphasis on safety. I pretended I was Fred! I flew like Fred, and just like Fred, I harassed the guy in the left seat. Multi Engine Instructor check ride passed with flying colors. Awesome team!

I did my CAMEL in the first week of December with their instructor and former DPE, Fred. Show up with the ground work complete and it is totally doable in the 5 days. We even lost my first day of flying for unexpected IMC. The school takes care of scheduling the examiner and getting the logbooks/maintenance up to par. Show up and be ready to fly! Grateful for the time Fred and Rob spent with me to make sure I was set up for success.

I specifically sought out Multi Engine Time Building / Multi Engine Flight School because of their use of the PA-30 as a training plane. Little did I know, there were so many other reasons that this was the perfect training for me! I was sent a good amount of study material well before my scheduled class date. This allowed me to dial in the concepts of multi engine flying as well as work through a lot of the facts about the airplane. I dove in and spent between 15-20 hours in the weeks leading up to the course and Davis (one of the instructors here) gave me the freedom on our first flight to take control and gain context for what I had studied. From there, he polished up my knowledge and stick and rudder skills to make sure I was well above the ACS standards for the Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land rating. They also scheduled my check ride for me and kept a great schedule leading up to it to ensure that I wasn't overwhelmed with too much flying, but also not out of the cockpit too long before the test to be comfortable. It is a model that really promotes efficiency and rewards those that are dedicated to safety and learning. 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent experience. Rob and the instructor pilot do a great job of preparing you for the check ride. Do yourself a huge favor and prepare prior to your arrival. Review aircraft systems and become familiar with the maneuver profiles. We had one small hiccup with the alternator, but Rob was on top of it immediately to fix the problem. I am planning on heading back to Phoenix to complete my additional time build with Rob. Lastly, the examiner was great. He was pretty quiet on the flight and just let you do your thing.

This course was terrific for me. It’s fast paced so the responsibility to show up already prepared (having studied section 7, 8 of the POH as well as knowing the V speeds and watching online YouTube clips for the ground portions for PAST & 23.149, airspace around KGEU) BEFORE YOU START is imperative for success. But if you’re able to do so, Rob, Davis, Fred, Jeremy & the team will prepare you to pass in as few as 5 days for your checkride and spend as little as possible. Their pricing as advertised to spend obtaining this rating is accurate. You’ll really enjoy flying their planes as well. They’re well maintained and fly beautifully. I was very happy with their service, their ability to teach & help me obtain my multi rating—and I’m not a pilot that always gets things easy. I often need a bit more practice than others. That’s how good these guys are if you come prepared.

Rob and Davis were amazing! They both want you to succeed and it's clear that they have their training system down to a t! I highly recommend coming into training having already studied the maneuver flows and going through everything the PA-30 Downloads section of their website. Having most of the flows almost memorized by the time I started training really helped me to get the most out of my training. I'd also recommend if you're already a CFI to look at this as if you're an MEI. Doing that also really helped because it became more than just rote memorization. Best of luck to everyone! Thanks again, Rob & Davis! I will definitely be recommending people to go to you guys!

This program gets your CAMEL done quickly in the best way possible. Rob and Davis Lille assisted with any questions I had and were always willing to make sure I was prepared heading into the checkride. Before your first flight lesson, you are given all the tools, training, knowledge, and materials that you need; however, it is an accelerated course so make sure you are willing to put in the work. Self-study (particularly concerning procedure profiles/flows) is a necessity in order to excel in this program. While Rob and the instructors are more than available to answer any and all questions you have, you must spend your own time studying the material and chair flying in order to become proficient enough to pass your ride. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone that is interested.

I completed a CAMEL add-on w/ METB in December of 2021. Attending their Zoom ground school and studying their checklists/maneuver procedures before arriving allowed me to hit the ground running and soak up all of the great wisdom from Fred. He is a great instructor with tons of experience! He was stern when he needed to be, but there was no doubt that every second in the airplane he was on my side, coaching me towards proficiency. Throughout the week, Rob was consistently on-site and communicative about the training process. He made sure everything was smooth sailing and all my questions/concerns were addressed. Plus, the Twin Comanche is a joy to fly! Just like with any training environment, it’s on you to study and work hard in the airplane to hone your skills, however, METB makes sure you have all the tools, support, and resources to advance your flying career!

The course Rob and the instructors have created really does set you up for what you need to know about flying light twins safely and passing your checkride. Davis was extremely knowledgeable about the Twin Comanche and was a great instructor. For any prospective students, my only recommendation would be to show up very familiar with the Ground School material and to be fresh on your instrument skills. I’m elated that I chose Rob and his team for getting my pilot rating. I had been looking for a flight school to get my MEI because 141 schools are generally well organized, But I found Rob’s school and it was the best choice I’ve ever made in terms of getting my rating. This schools ground, flights, and mock up check rides worked so smoothly. Davis was my instructor and I enjoyed every minute of flying with him. He was pretty laid back and gave me very professional lessons to ensure everything is done in time for the check ride. He was very patient and concise, unlike me, who tends to rush sometimes. We had a difficult time with the planes oil temperature due to Arizonas hot summer but Rob always looked after my plane to make sure I can fly in a safe conditions. Thanks to Rob’s job on cowl flaps, I flew 84JS in the best condition with zero problems on my check ride. You’ll be surprise as to how well they maintain and keep their airplanes in the best condition for their students. I didn’t fly with Rob and Fred but they gave me comprehensive answers to all of my questions. If you’re considering this school, I can guarantee, this is the way. These people has decades of experience and competitive prices didn’t degrade their professionalism and amazing training they provide. It would be in your best interest to fly multiengine with these guys whether you’re looking for a rating or time building. Furthermore, they’re familiar with every pilot and DEP in the valley so they can tailor your schedules and check ride dates in a flawless manner. I had a phenomenal run with Davis, Rob and Fred and I’ll definitely see you guys around. Wish you guys all the best!

Great experience from Rob the owner and my instructor Davis! Great guys and experience! Accomplished Multi commercial and instrument add on, and built more time following my checkride. They do a great job in making sure you are ready, all the information needed is on the website. Studing prior to arrival helps immensely. Airplane was wonderful! Looking forward to ATP with them next year!

My comments have all been said in previous posts. METB is Excellent in every category. Accommodation of my schedule, airplane quality, airplane maintenance, instructors, weather, all exceeded my expectations. No surprises. The twin Comanche is a fun airplane too. Rob and his team are the real deal. Did not get to fly with Rob, but Fred and Davis are top notch. Maybe next time Rob? Thank you for everything

Adding the multi-engine rating has been on my list for years. I called Rob with Multi Engine Time Building and was able to get my preferred week scheduled along with an extra day of instruction since I had not been flying as much. The ground with Jeremy was very thorough with everything you need to know about their aircraft and of course to prepare for the oral. I did my best to familiarize myself fully with the Twin Comanche, understand all materials and chair fly prior to flying, though I don’t think it is possible to fully prepare for your first experience with an engine failure on climb out! I found the multi engine rating to be the most fun rating so far. The pace was perfect, the weather was great, and the training provided a lot of challenges and new perspectives. Ryan was my instructor and worked to keep me on my toes and get my procedures up to task. Rob, Jeremy and Ryan all made sure all my questions were answered. I was prepared going into the check ride and had no surprises. I know Rob and his instructors cared about my success and take pride in their aircraft and instruction. I highly recommend Multi Engine Time Building! Thank you, Rob, Jeremy and Ryan!

I am very happy that I choose Rob and Multi-Engine Time Building.Com to get my MEI. It is an accelerated program and you do need to go into it having studied the material but I felt the pace of the course was good. It was my choice to add some extra flights in and Rob accommodated my request with no problem. My instructor Ryan was a very knowledgeable and skilled multi-engine instructor. He helped me transition to the instructor role of twin flying with patience while allowing me gain confidence in my abilities. The Twin Comanche was a great airplane to fly. It is obvious that Rob takes care of his airplanes and they are well maintained. I went into my check ride feeling confident and competent. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to time build or add a Multi rating to their certificate. Thank you for helping me achieve this goal!

There were no maintenance issues or instructor availability issues. They run like a machine! Owner Rob and CFI Matt were fantastic teachers and made the process painless and fun. Thank you guys!!

ATP Multi the most challenging course you will do! with Matts skilled guidance and Robs sound running plane I was able to knock out the 4 day course and check ride. Would recommend to anyone to take this training with Multitimebuilding, the time and money you would waist going anywhere else and trying to coordinate a plane, instructor and DPE is mind numbing, they do it all for you, except the studying and flying. Ask about the ATP and Multi oral prep, its well worth it!

Short story, I would highly recommend the Multi Engine Time Building accelerated Multi Engine course. It is one of the most cost effective and quickest courses that you can find. The long story is below. I live in California and setting up a DPE and a multi engine flight instructor was getting to be impossible. I’d secure an instructor and then try to setup up the check ride with a DPE. However, each DPE would say “you need to be signed off first before I can add you to my schedule.” The average schedule for any DPE in the bay area was always 2 to 3 months out at a minimum. So if I did get the training and the sign off from the MEI I’d most likely be out of the 60 day training sign off and need additional training. As multi engine training is some of the most expensive flying that you can do, I would be wasting a lot of money getting re-trained to take the check ride. That is where Multi Engine Time Building came in. I decided I needed to find an accelerated multi engine course. I did some research online and found a couple of blog posts with positive reviews for Rob and Multi Engine Time Building. I also called a couple other accelerated courses that I found too. However, Rob was the only one that not only called me back but also said he had the resources (plane, instructor, and DPE) to get me setup for my training and check ride. In not too long Rob called me back again with a date for the start of the course and a date for the check ride. Rob then pointed me to the online resources and stressed that it was very important to study the material so that I could be prepared for the course. About a month and a half later I arrived in Arizona for my training. The first day was ground school and I was pleased to find that it was taught by a very knowledgeable instructor. The training was consistent with all of the home studying I had done and the instructor was able to answer all of the questions I had that I could not find answers too on my own. The next four days was flight training. My instructor was Matt. Matt was a very professional, knowledgeable and motivational instructor. It also did not hurt that he had a great laid back attitude to help keep you calm when one of the fans stops turning. The training program covers all of the maneuvers in the ACS. Each of the four flights will have you doing the required maneuvers over and over again until you are comfortable doing them. This even includes fully shutting one of the engines down in flight with a restart at least once a flight. After 8.5 hours of flying over the four days I was pretty confident that I could pass the test. Sure enough on check ride day there were no surprises because I was so well -prepared that I passed the test!

I just passed my Multi-Engine checkered this afternoon and it is all thanks to the tenacity of Rob running an outstanding program, finding an FAA Examiner on short notice, and Dave Francis being willing to take on two students in the dead of the August heat in Phoenix. The Twin Comanche is the most fun aircraft that I have ever flown. The maintenance is top- notch. A special thanks goes out to their impeccable A&P mechanic, Alberto, who keeps the aircraft flying safe. I can not say enough good things about Rob, Dave and Alberto. Outstanding team and I am grateful to God that I got referred to Multienginetimebuilding!

Rob has a fantastic operation established. He is extremely professional and will work with you and your individual schedule/situation to meet your objective. He is always honest and upfront, and if the schedule doesn’t look good he will let you know, if you need more hours to prepare you for a successful evaluation he will let you know. His ground school is dialed in and set me up very well for the ground evaluation and flight operations in general. You can call him day or night and he will answer your questions. Fred is a top instructor and check pilot. He knows his plane/material/procedures backwards and forwards and has many years of experience and knowledge to impart on to you. As long as you follow Fred’s instructions, you can’t go wrong. I haven’t touched a GA aircraft since 1999 before entering the Air Force and flying F-16s for 20 years but Fred ensured I got all the proper procedures down pat. I ended up flying 13.1 hours total, including a 2.4 hour check flight, to earn my ATP Multi Engine rating. I took longer than most since I was spoiled by Air Force flying, but Fred got me there in min time. I would gladly fly with Fred again. I highly recommend this program.

Knocked out the CAMEL add-on in five days. Ground school and a flight on Sunday. Flew Monday - Wednesday and then had the check ride early Thursday morning. Previous comments are accurate - Rob and Co. want to see you succeed. Dave was my instructor and was great to fly with. A couple of the mornings I hopped in the back seat to observe another guy getting his add-on fly with Fred. Highly recommend doing that if it works out - it gives you a great chance to observe and learn while not having to fly the aircraft. Spend some time before showing up reviewing the information under the "PA-30 downloads" section. Also - for those coming from out of town (like I was) - recommend you familiarize yourself with the Phoenix VFR sectional, KDVT airfield procedures, and KGEU (Glendale - we did lots of touch-and-go's there). It's extremely busy airspace, so it helps to be familiar with the area. Foreflight on the iPad was a big help. Thanks again guys!

Excellent overall experience from Rob, Davis and Fred. As a military helicopter pilot who hadn't flown fixed wing in nearly 10 years, they were very patient and accommodating throughout the process. The entire team was truly dedicated to making sure that I was ready to pass the MEL check ride, to include lunches discussing technique and answering dumb helicopter guy questions to late night phone calls about manifold and prop settings, these guys were always happy to help. Professional business, professional instructors. Aircraft were top notch and ready to fly. The only issue we had was fixed ASAP. I would highly recommend Multi Engine Time Building to anyone who is looking to get their MEL certificate. I had reached out to several companies that appeared first on google searches, and either got no call back or they were unable to commit to a schedule. Rob, on the other hand, did everything he could to make things as simple as possible and always kept in touch.
I would highly recommend studying the things provided on the PA-30 downloads section of the website, specifically the maneuvers. Having this knowledge locked down before the fist flight will pay dividends, and make things much easier on you, trust me. Thanks Rob, Davis, and Fred for a great experience

From the first time I contacted Rob, he was very prompt replying to my emails, polite, professional, and extremely accommodating. Rob was able to schedule me for the week before Xmas with “relatively” short notice. Keep in mind, his schedule is usually booked solid, but my timing was right and I was heading to Deer Valley, AZ. On my first day, I met Rob and my CFI Davis at the terminal and we reviewed my training schedule for the next 5 days. Usually, Rob likes to do the initial ground training on the previous day, but my schedule didn’t allow me to arrive a day earlier, so first we did my initial flight with CFI Davis, a multi-thousand hour, extremely experienced, and professional Pilot/CFI, and ground training was done with Rob after the flight. I was lucky enough to get my ground training at Rob’s house. I had the pleasure of meeting his wonderful wife Yung, and as a bonus I got an excellent home cooked meal!!! The course is intense, but very well structured. Rob has been doing this for decades, so he knows what needs to be done to help you succeed. My suggestion, and I can’t stress this enough to any potential student, is to come prepared as much as possible. At the very least reviewing all the info that is provided on the website, it will definitely make things much easier and training will go much smoother, and you won’t feel like your are “drinking water thru a fire hose”. To be fair, there’s a lot of info provided, but it’s very maneagable and not overwhelming. Also, I would suggest polishing your radio communication and situational awareness skills, you are definitely going to need them at KDVT (Deer Valley), the busiest general aviation airport in the country, mostly bustling with students training at 2 “major” 141 campuses on site!!! If you are coming from out of town, become familiar with the airspace, it is not terribly complicated but there is tons of flight training traffic from all directions, since Phoenix due to its great weather, is a major area for flight schools and there are thousands of students training (not all flying at same time) thru out the year. Also, try to find lodging close to the airport, Phoenix traffic can be pretty bad during peak ours and you definitely don’t want to spend time In traffic to & from the airport, when you should be concentrating on your training! The Twincos are in great condition, excellently equipped, and the log books are kept immacutely and up to date accordingly . Rob, Fred & Davis always make sure the airplane is ready and working properly for a safe training flight (of course unexpected minor mechanical issues can happen sometimes, and are unavoidable, keeping in mind the airplanes fly a lot). My CFI Davis consistently made sure the training was straightforward and easy to process. He maintained a very relaxed but professional training environment which definitely made it easier to learn and practice everything that was being taught. He was very patient and concise , especially for a slow learner like me, hahaha! Their main objective , besides the obvious of teaching you to fly a twin safely, is to prepare you as best as possible for you to go into your checkride confident and well prepared. The instructors are always available & willing to help in anyway they can (within reason of course) to you get thru the course successfully. The 4 days were a blurr, but rest assured that if you are not ready, your instructor will not sign you off for the checkride! On checkride day, I was pretty nervous, but Rob helped me feel relaxed & confident. My assigned DPE, Greg Porter, was very professional and friendly, and had an awesome demeanor. The checkride went very well and It was a great experience. Needless to say, I will definitely be back, and I’d strongly recommend Rob & Crew to any pilot seeking professional and quality multi-engine training. Special thanks to Rob, Davis, Greg, & Yung for a great time...Hope to be back soon!

I decided to get my CMEL right after getting my CSEL. As a relatively low time pilot (~270 hours), I was quite nervous about getting this done in four days. Fred was one of the toughest instructors I have had, but he prepared me very well for the checkride on the fifth day. Rob was awesome and checked up on my progress each day. He is genuinely interested in making sure his students are taken care of. I really enjoyed the course and the checkride was uneventful! Thanks Fred and Rob!

I came over to Phoenix from Hawaii to get my CAMEL add-on. As luck would have it, the remnants of a Mexican hurricane passed through during my first few days there, creating the 8th wettest storm for the area in recorded history. Who would think it..in Phoenix??? It looked iffy that we would get it done in my tight time frame. But Fred made himself completely available to me to basically be on call to work around the weather and get our training flights in when there was little breaks and clearings. He is by far and away the best flight instructor I have ever known, sharp as a tack, a wealth of knowledge, and clearly doing it because he enjoys teaching and flying in general. He is the best combination of tough and supportive with very high standards of safety and technique. Where else can you find a retired DPE, who is going to give you a concise, legit mock check-ride each and every flight? Nowhere. This is a very unique operation for that reason and many others. You are not just some student that they are fitting in amongst the herd, all in different aircraft going for privates in 172s or whatever else where the instructors, aircraft, and everything about it is spread super thin like typical flight schools. Rob has one aircraft that he and his instructors are specialists in, they take very good care of it, know everything there possibly is to know about it, and can impart that knowledge to you in an efficient way. I felt treated more like a VIP client than just another student. Some of it may have had to do with the marginal weather and no other scheduled flights, but for the week I was there, it seemed like they were dedicated to me and nobody else. Making sure that I was prepared for my check ride was their focused task, which made it all the more inspiring for me to do my best, and not let them down. That is the unique training experience they cultivate there which is a recipe for success. What you get for the cost is a great value. It might be possible to find a slightly cheaper a la carte flight school somewhere in the valley, but it wouldn’t be much cheaper, and there is no way you would get the same bang for the buck as with these guys. Being from out of town, DVT is a pretty busy GA airport, but not too difficult to deal with and easy to get the hang of the intricacies quickly. The GPS approaches are a breeze. The Garmin 750 really helps smooth out the process too, with great airport diagrams, maps, and easy to set up nav and com features. My DPE, Greg, was a great guy with a calm demeanor, and ran a very efficient, straight forward and fair check ride with no surprises. Thanks Rob and Fred for getting me there!

This has been the best flight school in my aviation career, I received the best service, training, and schedule that I could have asked for. After 4 months of failed attempts trying to get my multi completed at 2 other schools both because of maintenance issues. I came to multi engine time building and got my rating done + an additional 20 hours of time building, all in 1 week. Multi engine time building is successful because they help people and get things done, unlike %99 of the flight schools out there, unfortunately not, out there for your best interest. Thank you Rob and Davis for all the help, it was a pleasure.

I want to give a huge thank you to both Rob and Davis for an awesome experience during the course of my commercial multi add on. Initially the thought of completing the training and check ride within 5 days seemed possible yet challenging. And while it does require lots of focus, I can confidently say this is the best way to accomplish this rating. Rob was very approachable and truly cared about my experience and overall success. He was always reachable throughout my stay if I had any questions regarding the training or anything at all. Davis was an excellent instructor and I feel like I learned valuable techniques and practices from him. Between the two of them they hold an immense amount of knowledge and have the training process down to a science. My examiner, Jacob, was exactly as Rob and Davis had described and my check ride was done by the books with no deviation or seemingly personal criteria. He was extremely personable and I genuinely enjoyed the entire check ride experience. Lastly, the plane was very well kept and the 750 makes flying it that much better. Overall I would suggest the program to anyone who is interested and I myself plan to be back in the future for some time building. Thanks a ton guys.

I did my ATP with Rob a few years ago and recently just finished my MEI. As usual a very well structured training course. My instructor Davis was excellent and always encouraged me with good feedback. The course is tough and if you have not flown the Twin Comanche in a while it will take some getting used to. Rob briefed me before I came down to DVT on what to study. I hit the books and the aircraft training as hard as I could at the time and naturally was nervous and did not know what to expect for my check-ride. Turns out the oral as well as the flight portion was a breeze and I performed excellent. Trust these instructors and pick their brains. They have been in the business for a long time and are experts in prepping you for your applicable check-ride. Excellent experience as usual.

One of the best experiences I have had for an accelerated course. The owner, Rob was extremely helpful and supportive throughout my training for my MEI certificate. The instructor, Fred Gorrel was a highly experienced former DPE that had a lot of knowledge and experience to pass down to me and my training. The airplane is in excellent condition with a brand new Garmin 750. Unlike other flight schools, Rob was especially attentive to my timeframe and budget and helping me achieve the most learning out of each and every flight. Rob's wealth of experience and coaching help streamline the whole course and adequately prepared me for success for my checkride. Rob truly cares about his customers and helps them save money. I had a chance to get my camel add-on with Rob and Fred. Both were amazing pilot and instructor.quality of airplane was good, Privately owned twin comanche, all the vailable information on the website was useful. Also, they schedule checkride within the 5 days period they promise you. For me, I needed extra hours because my personal reason, where I had to take break between training and my lack of proficiency. I am a low hour pilot who just got 270 hours, when I had thi s multi commercial add-on with Rob and Fred.. only when they are sure I will pass the checkride, they will give you an endorsement for it. Of course, they get you ready within those few days at deer valley. Relationship with DPE IS GREAT. Fred himself was superb DPE, famous in town, that he will get you required training done. For low hour pilot like myself or...somewhat esl pilot, make sure to study materials a head of time. Getting know the concept and flow for coming maneuver was essential. If schedule allow, there might be chance to get some backseat. Which helped me out so much. Just make sure not violate privacy of others. If I get to build multi hours in future or need to get melti rating for instructor, I would definitely come back to deer valley and get help fromROB and FRED. I ORIGINALLY FLY FROM KDVT AND KGYR. ND FRED’s instruction around the airspace. Practice area(which shared with two huge flight school from kdvt) was managed safely at all flight training time. Note on the manuver, this airplane specific tip, and twin comanche ingeneral was impressive. Instrument added through two popular gps approach to kdvt was not an issue. Fred made sure those were covered. Andon checkride day, unexpected wx required me an published hold before single engine entry for full stop. And With proper training at multienginetimebuilding, I was able to perform it well. I wish many of other pilot have a chance to meet Rob, fred and other fellow MEI over here. And wishes safe and funflying upcoming. I look forward to getting back again, for remainder of time building.

I've worked and trained at several different flight schools across the Phoenix area and this is by far the best. There is no other way to go about flying a twin, whether for a rating or building time, everything from the training, to the aircraft and scheduling. There top priority is getting you ready for your check ride and they are good at it. You are wasting your time and money going anywhere else.

I'll give this business 5 out of 5 stars!! I did my 8.3hrs multi time building with David (one of Rob's highly qualified and friendly instructors) on his Twin Comanche. After all my research online, Rob has one of the most affordable multi time building in the Arizona area. The Twin Comanche it looks old, but it is very well maintained and equipped with advanced avionics like Garmin 750. G750 looks like a fun size G1000, exact same features as the G1000 but with touch screen and up to date Databases. We had to split the time as Robs and his instructor's schedule and aircraft's schedule are pretty tight. I also highly recommend bringing a passenger with you :) Took my wife with me ;) That way you're not the only one enjoying your time building travels :) First flight was 6.2 hrs from Deer Valley to San Diego area, got brunch there at the airport, fueled up, and went back. 2nd flight was a scenic flight to Sedona. Just like the other reviews in here, count me in as one of those highly satisfied customer ;)

I achieved my MEL, Instrument Rating and ATP with Multi Engine Time Building (METB) within a time span of 5 months. Training with METB was a memorable and pleasant experience. Rob and Fred worked closely to ensure everything went seamlessly. Rob efficiently ensures that the training and check-ride schedule goes as per requested and planned. Ground school was enriching and impressionable when I was able to look at the parts and pieces of the systems. Flying with Fred was simply awesome and I enjoyed every minute of it. His instructional techniques were tactful yet surgical. He was able to nail the problematic areas and made sure you receive the appropriate amount of training in that aspect. Not only does Fred ensures you are check-ride ready, he ensures you are ready for the unforgiving real aviation world. I am sincerely very grateful for all the realistic training Fred has given me. Being part of METB made me felt like i was part of a sports team, Rob is the Manager, Fred is the Coach and I am one of the players. They helped me achieved my potential. Look nowhere else but Multi Engine Time Building, because the only con I have about them is that they do not provide training for free. Super highly recommended! Thank you Rob. Thank you Fred. A great place to get ME training done. Rob really worked to fit my difficult schedule and helped me to complete my MEI. His knowledge of the local Examiners made check ride day easy with no surprises. The aircraft is well maintained and is a joy to fly. Thanks Rob.

I had heard good thIngs about this program from a friend who went through it. An unexpected month in the Phoenix area for work gave me the opportunity. Thankfully Rob got me signed up on relatively short notice thanks to a cancellation and he conducted my ground school. I flew with Fred who is a tough instructor, but he's teaching pilots not just to pass a checkride but to deal with and survive emergencies. Add-on achieved!

On August 4th I started my Flight training with Fred. A week prior to that I met with Rob for a ground session regarding the airplane. 4 days after starting the training I was CAMEL rated... How quick and painless is that? It's a lot of study and the training is intense, but its absolutely doable and totally worth it! The guys know what they're talking about and are great to work with. I would absolutely recommend this place if you want the most efficient way of getting your Multi Add On! Cheers,
Kat

I did my Multi Engine Commercial add on with Fred and Rob. Their training far exceeded my expectations!! Not only do you get to fly and learn all the aerodynamics in flying twins safely, but they spend at least half of that time teaching you ground work and understanding the systems. The training is intense, but very doable. Including the check ride, I put in 10 hours total over 5 days. Fred is very thorough in his teaching style, but also very comfortable to fly with. His many years flying this particular aircraft in addition to other multi engine aircraft will serve you well! Rob spent at least 4 hours covering the oral prep work in preparation for the check ride. I felt well prepared for the exam. He also will set you up with a schedule that suits you. Although I had a previous professional relationship with both Fred and Rob with my job as Air Traffic Manager of DVT, they did not go easy on me and it made me a better pilot! I had Greg Porter for my Examiner. Terrific guy to fly with and put me right at ease. Although the aircraft is older and not the prettiest to look at, it flies fantastic and you can see they put a lot of time into maintaining it. Not one squawk in 5 straight days of flying. Plus with the addition of the Garmin 750 with ADS-b in, it’s a huge game changer in the Phoenix high density traffic area! You cannot go wrong with this outfit. Very affordable and they really treat you right!! I will be back soon for some time building. Doug Hart

I did my multi add on with with Fred and Rob. It was the cheapest option I could find in Arizona. The cheap price didn't degrade the training in any way. Flying with Fred was fantastic! He assures that you feel comfortable with the plane and truely tests you and assures you're ready for your Checkride. Ground school with Rob was very educational and he is very knowledgeable. He assures that you understand and are comfortable with the material. I came from a 141 school and was used to sitting in a classroom but here you do ground school in the hangar and get a hands on ground school looking at the systems and material in person. Really helps with learning! The plane is well maintained and a joy to fly with a new Garmin gps that helps keep you safe in the air. You cannot beat the price and timeline with these guys. Got my add on in four days. Overall helpful, professional, educated, flexible, and a fun experience!

Fred and Rob are THE best. I did my Commercial Multi add-on and my instrument initial with them in one month. They make sure you pass! Most places are out there to take your money, and METB is certainly not one of those places. They teach because they enjoy it and not to "build time and get to the airlines asap" like most flight school instructors around here. They do a very professional job and have very nice equipment. The Twin Comanche is nicely equipped and if there is ever a problem, Rob made sure it was fixed ASAP so it didn't affect your training. I have already recommended multiple people to METB, they are the best! Top notch, fast, efficient, and two nice guys who love what they do. Thank you!

I completed my Commercial Multi in 4 Days and had 8.0 hours going into the checkride!!! This may seem accelerated and it is. But you are more than prepared! The flight instruction given by Fred was top notch! He is a wealth of knowledge and great at prepping you for the ride. Rob was excellent during ground instruction making sure I knew the aircraft's systems from top to bottom. The 4 days are intense but it is WORTH IT! I had Joe Sottile as my examiner and please feel free to email me if you have any questions going into your rides. Safe Flying!

Fred and Rob were great! I did my Commercial MEL add-on with them in 8.3 hours and the checkride was 1.4. It was an intense 3 days, flying about 2.7 per day, but the quality of instruction far surpassed that of any flight school. It was also the cheapest add-on ME rating in the Phoenix. I would definitely study before you start flying. Know and understand ME aerodynamics, OEI procedures and PAST, as well as PA-30 systems. This was a great experience that was challenging but really fun.

Very Highly recommend this training; I did my AME Instructor rating here, and couldn't have been happier with the training. Both Rob and Fred were extremely accommodating and patient with my crazy and ever-changing schedule that was out of control, and they are very attentive and good at taking care of their students. I appreciated them allowing me to fly first thing/early in the morning as my Alaska blood was boiling by noon in the Arizona heat. It is one of the most hands-on, one-on-one type training environments that I've attended, and both Rob and Fred are very knowledgeable instructors and highly experienced pilots. I was impressed how spotless, clean, and leak-free the aircraft was every day before each flight, as well as how willing Rob always was to address any mechanical problems overnight or whenever that might have affected the training schedule. I flew with Fred, and he is a fantastic instructor and I appreciated his style, experience, and patience. After 20 years of flying for a living it is a pleasure for me to be a student again and learn from experienced pilots. My examiner Jacob was extremely thorough, but one of the most friendly and approachable examiners I've had to date. Every single required item on the AMEL PTS is touched on, to standard, with no deviation from the PTS and no personal agenda. It was gusting 28 kts. on my check ride, so while stressful, it went well. Jacob brought up a good point during the flight regarding inadvertently turning the one "good" generator off with the other engine secured; there would be no indication other than the ammeter. Good thing to consider and keep in mind. Really looking forward to flying with them again, and I will be encouraging my colleagues to train here as well. And, don't let Fred loan you his Flight Instructor AMEL/AMES PTS book because then you'll fly back home and have to mail it back to him from somewhere far away.

I flew with Fred for 2 days in order to finish up my commercial add-on. He taught me everything I needed to know and then some in order to pass my check ride successfully. Both Rob and Fred made themselves available to me anytime I wanted on a daily basis. How much you want to fly is completely up to you, they'll make it happen. These guys will bend over backwards to make sure you are successful and that you leave with more knowledge than what you came here with. I wish I would have found out about them sooner, it would have saved me a lot of time and money. I recommend you guys to everyone I see, thank you! Also, I wanted to give you and Fred some gouge info from the oral. Jacob asked about these things: - weight and balance, how AFT cg and loading affected the a/c - what accelerate stop distance was and meant - Vyse and how important it was after takeoff - what happened aerodynamically at Vmc, talked about how I would do the Vmc demo. I mentioned how it's demonstrating the transition from controllability to survivability like you had said. He dug that. - recovery from Vmc going wrong, i.e. recovery from a spin, how differential power may be the only way to recover if it goes to far. - talked through PAST aerodynamics - electrical system, what to do if it fails and how long the battery may last, procedures in the event it dies as well, manual gear, zero flap landing. Flight - Short field t.o. - Engine failure on the ground, continue t.o. - maneuvers out near lake pleasant and the Nissan test track. - approach into KDVT, engine failure once established inbound - touch and go - normal approach to land setup, said go around - came back around for a normal approach to land, touch and go, engine failure about 500 feet on the go - set up for short field approach - ride over! Thanks guys, I appreciated everything. Cheers! Jesse

No surprises during my CA MEL check ride! Rob and Fred trained me well and I breezed through the check ride with confidence. Ground school was taught by Rob at the hanger itself and we were able to conduct hands-on learning of the aircraft system and multi engine aerodynamics. It was a way better and easier method to learn as compared to studying at the schematics based on the POH. Fred took me for the flying portion and I am blessed to have such a dedicated and patience CFI! Not only did he imparted his great flying skills but also good airmanship and safety tips that I will bring along for the rest of my aviation career.

I was needing about another 40 hours of multi PIC time in a short time frame to qualify for a U.S. Forest Service contract. I had searched nationwide for an outfit that would allow me to get it done in a week. Rob well serves this sort of need. He was very accommodating and flexible in helping me get the flying experience I was after at a fair price. His home base in Phoenix, Arizona is known for the sort of weather that is VFR flyable every day, so no days lost to weather. I've always maintained that I want to learn from the masters. With Rob and Fred, I got a giant measure of both. It was very clear to me that I was drawing on thousands of hours of real world experience of both teaching, and of simply flying. Yes, I was well prepared for the CAMEL checkride - sailed through it. But what really stuck with me was what Fred told me many times: "Forget about the checkride. I'm teaching you THIS (procedure, technique, etc.) so that when the chips are down, you and your passengers live!" Ot the "twin pilot mindset" that Rob always emphasizes. You simply can't put a price on that kind of wisdom that's not in your average textbook. People get their MEL ratings at "pilot mills" which are very efficient at preparing applicants for the checkride. Nothing wrong with that. But I'd rather learn from someone whose experience spans decades, and the wisdom that comes with it. It would be hard to find better instructors to learn from than Fred and Rob. I'm very glad I can now count them among my teachers.

It was a great pleasure to fly the Robert´s Twin Comanche. Not only Robert is a enthusiastic man but also a remarkable pilot. My experience, as a pilot is yet pretty weak as a low timer, but I'd been really happy to have been able to fly every day in really good weather conditions at the beginning of November. I'd been able to fly VFR, IFR and to revise some maneuvers special to the twin engine aircraft. Robert was able to adapt to my needs without any problems. So, I've got one recommendation, if you're like me, and need some twin engine hours, don't miss the opportunity to come and fly at the multi-engine time building in Arizona!

I have just completed a 30 hour time building block with Rob having travelled to the US from England. All I can say is that Multienginetimebuilding.com does exactly what it says it does and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Rob is an excellent, experienced pilot/FI and his Twin Comanche is not only a pleasure to fly, but also well looked after and extremely well equipped with GPS, autopilot and weather radar etc. In terms of value for money, you get exactly what you pay for with every minute of your flying bookable as PiC. Rob is as honest as the day is long and there are absolutely no hidden charges or requests for advanced payments – you just pay for each days flying as you go. Robert went out of his way to make my time building experience productive and when we missed a day’s flying due to weather, worked very hard on my behalf to make up the time so we still managed to complete on schedule. Overall this was a fantastic flying experience that I enjoyed very much and I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent aviation service. Toby Hammond - Dorset, UK

Robert went out of his way in making my time building experience a good one. His wife had dinner made for us each night and it was nice to feel at home instead of just at another flight school. Overall this was a fantastic 25 hours. I enjoyed this very much. I learned more than my initial Multi training that I received from another school. I would highly recommend Multi engine time building to everyone. I plan on returning soon for another 25 hours.

I did my Commercial Multi Engine with Rob and passed my check ride with ease. I was very happy with my training as it was well planned out and nothing was left out. I left Multi Engine Time Building feeling completely trained and comfortable in a twin. I would recommend this course without hesitation. Money well spent.

Rob is a remarkable instructor who does not 'teach the test', he trains you to competently fly a multi-engine aircraft and realize the value of re-current training and respect for the machine. His customer service is incredible-flexing his schedule to yours. Come prepared, follow his guidance, and the check ride will be your easiest flight.

Another Great 20 hours with Rob. This is my second visit there and everything was great. His wife also made us some great meals. I don't see there being much of a better multiengine time building course.

I have always struggled with taking check rides and grasping information that is given to me. But Rob's course showed me that I can grasp things quick, and conquer my worst fear which is check rides. He prepared me for the real life actions that can happen in an airplane. The airplane is sweet, and the courses are amazing. I will be back for more time building. Thanks Rob!

Been doing some awesome time building with Rob in his Twin Comanche. The plane is very well equipped and flies perfectly. Rob is an "instructor's instructor" with thousands and thousands of hours of experience he is more than willing to share. Definitely recommend him to gain not just time in the logbook, but real world experience which will be invaluable when you land your job down the road. He can also help direct you in your career path and will provide insights to an industry that can be hard to pick up from the outside looking in. So...what are you waiting for?

I came all the way from UT to fly with Rob and build some multi-engine PIC time. It was well worth the trip and I had a very enjoyable eperience. Rob is a very laid back guy to fly with, an excellent instructor with years of experience under his belt. I appreciated the flexibility in his schedule, great prices, excellent training and very peronal and goood customer service. I will come back and fly with Rob again for more time building in the near future.

Rob thank you so much for giving me a thorough and very understandable training which led to my success as a multi engine pilot. Nice and to the point instruction and flying and learning from Rob is very fun. I would recomend Rob to anyone seeking multi instruction. The course is roughly 4 days and you have to STUDY for this course so if you want it as bad as I did you will do what ever it takes to pass. Awsome instructor and I could not have done it without Robs instruction. I will most definitly be back for more instruction and time building with Rob in the future! Thanks Rob for everything.

Rob, thank you so much for the great experience you provided me with these past few days in the air. You and your wife are beyond welcoming and 61Y is a joy and honor to fly. The hours I logged were real world IFR with multiple actual instrument approaches. I would highly recommend your fine operation to anybody looking for quality multi-engine time. I look forward to coming back.

I searched a month for the most affordable and realiable multi engine time building in the country. In the end I choose to travel from texas to fly with Rob in Tennessee. It was a great choice. I was able to fly to the destinations of my choice. The twin comanche is kept in great shape. Nothing is labeled "inop", Rob takes pride in his airplane and it shows. I will refer others to Rob. He is honest, straight-forward and fun to fly with. Give him a call!

Flew with Rob for 30 hours around the country. Rob was an awesome guy to fly with. This was a very efficient multi engine time building course. He allows you to pick the airports you want to fly into, how you want to get there and the approaches you want to shoot. Along with all this his wife would have dinner prepared for us by the time we got back. Excellent homemade meals!

I got my commercial Multi and MEI with Rob. I wish I would have found him for my private. I also did my instrument training with Rob. What a great instructor!!! I was well prepared for all of my check rides and he is very accommodating to individual schedules. Not often you save money and get great training. It was nice to fly in an airplane that someone takes personal pride in vs just another plane in the fleet. Thank you Rob and I will be sending anybody I know who needs Multi training to you. Sean

I flew 30 hours of multi with Rob last week and had a great time. I am a full time college student and also a part time instructor so it was hard to find time to do the hours at one time. Rob fit me in during my spring break and did everything he could to make sure i was done in time. I was able to complete the 30 hours in 4 days! I wanted to fly out west so we completed 20 hours during a two day trip to Phoenix, Arizona. The experience was great and Rob was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had breakfast and dinner with Rob and his wife. The food was delicious and t also saved me a lot of money. Hopefully my hours will be enough to get me a job with the airlines, but if not i will most definately come back for more hours! -Marcus

I did my multi engine add on with Rob and passed my ride without a problem. We had a problem with the original examiner not having availability due to an emergency and Rob worked his contacts and was able to schedule a checkride with another local DPE with less then a days notice. Rob gives you the training that you need to make you a safe and competent multi engine pilot not just the bare minimum training that other facilities provide. All of your training is in the plane not in a sim and the prices are at least $1000 lower then other options. I'm planning on doing more flying with Rob in the near future. Thanks for the excellent training and great experience.

I was in need of some Twin Comanche time to meet some insurance requirements. I found the Multieginetimebuilding website and after phone discussions with Rob, we were able to schedule the time I needed. Rob was very thorough and effective as an instructor. He was very accommodating and it was an enjoyable day getting to fly with him. I highly recommend him for PA 30 time building. Marshall

I am currently in the process of doing 75 hours of multi time building with Rob and thus far is has been exceptional. I have enjoyed getting to know Rob and his wife Kitty who have fed me breakfast and dinner everyday; they really make you feel like you are family and not too far from a home cooked meal. As as far as the flying goes it has been great! Rob is a great MEI/CFII who is willing to teach as much as he is will to let you learn by example and teach yourself. We have flown all over the southeast and visited many places. It is a great learning experience and the memories thus far are awesome (many pictures and videos). I would recommend Rob to anyone.

Mr. Kocak, Just a quick note to say merry Christmas and most importantly Thank You for your time and expertise with my son Conor Shanley. From what Conor tells me, your operation was genuine, professional, and expeditious. Truthfully, it was a relief since many operations are not as genuine as yours. Also, it was very heartening and we thank you very much for the extra care you provided such as transportation and actually having Conor to your home for dinner. Conor recently was fortunate enough to have an interview with Express Jet/Atlantic Southeast. Getting the multi engine time with you that gave him a total of over 50 hours multi was crucial to his obtaining an interview. Hopefully, he'll get a phone call to start training soon. Thanks again for your help. Frank Shanley

Flew for about 35 Hours with Rob. Had a lot of fun. Did a little bit of mountain flying to Phoenix and flew to Cinncinati and Georgia as well. Even with a mag problem one day, rob was able to take apart the engine, fix the mag, and put it all together again all in one morning and we were still able to get in 3 Hours of flying that day. Rob's wife, Kitty, was very nice too and made breakfast and dinner for me which helped saved money. Rob and Kitty make this multi time building experience a great one and I would recommend this time building to anyone who needs the multi time.

I flew with Multi Engine Time Building from August 10th to August 28th. I built a total of 101.3 hours. Rob helped me get through the FAA to fly in the USA. Everything went smooth. We had 2 days down for weather and 1 day down for oil change and maintenance. Rob was on top of everyting. Found lodging for $25 per night ( not the greatest ) but cheap. All in all I was very happy with my experience. I would reccomend this to everyone. Adheesh
